We watched the afternoon feeding of the black bears, moose grazing, owls, wolves, and porcupine to name a few of the animals that call the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center home.
It was raining when we visited the center, so we drove very slowly. There is a 1.5-mile viewing loop which you can either walk or drive to view the animals. The conservation center provides a home for orphaned, ill, or injured (wild) animals. There is an admission fee for this attraction but it is definitely well worth adding to your Alaska itinerary.
